"Mrughavadhe" A Weekend Spot.

Hello Every One...

This is My new post after a long time. I was totally busy and had no time to write.

I was thinking to write about a place called as Mrughavadhe for a long time, but never had total information, although it is my Native Place(Fathers), & it is an beautiful place.

Every one who work in their office in Bangalore know how important an weekend can be. Every one wanna get out of the city and go places somewhere quite and peacefull to relax their minds off the daily hectics of the city life.

It is essential for a person to get a peacefull and joyfull weekend as he/she is tired of the office and will be feeling sick about it some time later. To releave these stress one should visit or go to places that he has not seen to experience some change in their routine life.

I would like to give some information about Mrughavadhe an mistical place in this post, i hope it will be helpful.

About Mrughavadhe:

Mrughavadhe is a Place situated near Tirthahalli, Shimaga Dist. It is about 110Kms from Shimoga and 37Kms (Appx) from Tirthahalli.

I had recently been to Mrughavadhe, i had arranged a bike ride for my self to this place.

Although I did not stayed there for a long period it gave all the relaxation i needed from my daily office work.

If you try to search for this place in Google or Internet you will be disappointed as there is no adiquate information about this place, as it is remote and not known by many people.

But believe me it is one of the best places in Malnad Dist and a good weekend getaway place.

Mrughavadhe is about 400kms from Bangalore and can be reached through road only. There are trains available upto Shimoga & one have to take local busses to Tirthahalli and then change another bus which takes them to Mrughavadhe from Tirthahalli. Nearest Airport is in Mangalore and it is about 200Kms from Mrughavadhe.

The People who can arrange their own Vehicle can enjoy this place with little time travelling. Road condition are superb in these villege limits and i am sure there won't be trouble of bad roads in this region.

People who can arrange a car can visit this place and enjoy the beauty of it.

I have also posted couple pictures of Mrughavadhe in this post.

Best time to visit this place is in the winter season as in the rainy season you don't wanna go there as there will be heavy rain and in summer the Sun will be too hot and it is impossible to step out.

But in the winter it is a heaven. And a very good place to visit.

The people who visit Mrughavadhe can also visit the famous Agumbe as it is very near. And Mrughavadhe Hosts Famous Mallikarjuna Temple and other famous temples in its locality.

As there is no hotel's in Mrughavadhe the people visiting have to make arrangements to stay in the night. Or Nearest Hotel is in Tirthahalli Which can be very convient.
People can stay in Tirthahalli and visit Mrughavadhe.

There will be lunch arrangements made in the Mallikarjuna Temple every day to assist the people. If you are visiting Agumbe or Shimoga or Tirthahalli for touring purpose you must visit Mrughavadhe.

If you are going in a groupe with friends or family members this will be a great spot.

There is also Spiritual Reason for this place which i am not compleately known off.
It is a saying that "Lord Rama" A Hindu God had visited this place in his Vanavasa and there is Proof for it as he had killed a deamon in this place.

Locals Can be a Great Guides as they are keen to guide tourists around their villege showing all the famous spots.

These Were only some of the information i was able to provide to you about a place called Mrughavadhe.

Hope it helps...

Signing off

My Bike Trip

Hello Every one,

As some of you may know how i love to ride bikes, i always wanted to ride my bike for the longest duration. I always had this idea of going to my native place(Fathers) in my own bike, but never got the chance as some times parents opposed or no one came along with me, or never had a bike!. When i heard that i had to go to Tirthahalli Shimoga for some personal work, i thought, can i go in my own bike??? as all the resources to make my trip a success were available.

So i decided to take a 4 days trip in my bike, 10 persons that i consulted about the trip, only couple of them gave me a green light. Rest of them just opposed as they it was too dangerous or too Stupid to go alone for such a long distance.

But i took a chance to fulfill my dream of riding for more than 1000Kms without any disturbance from any one which included my pillion or some other rider who is willing to come along with me.

I decided to leave Bangalore for my journey on 28th Feb and Came back by 3rd Mar

I Prepared for my journey collecting all the necessary equipment and decided to follow my plan as formed before.

Here is My Journey Details.

Day 1 (28th Feb Sunday): Left for Shimoga by 6am in the morning. Stopped for break fast in Kamath Restaurant in Tumkur, Reached Shimoga by 12Pm (early than expected)

Went to My Mothers Sisters home (Sujatha Chikkamma) in Shimoga & rested, my mother called me up to find out that i made it safely or not and i told her i am ready to go still 300Kms,lol.

Day 2 (Smg To Mrughavadhe): I left for mrughavadhe by 9Am and reached my desired destination by 11am. i only stopped in Tirthathalli for to take few pictures of the famous Tirthahalli Bridge and some rain-forests pics that i took along my journey.

. Reached Mrughavadhe and rested for a while and went back to Tirthahalli to get my Father who just arrived from Bangalore.

Day 3: I went to Tirthahalli compleated my designated work and headed towards Sagara the connecting roads in this region were pretty worse and it took me some effort to ride my bike on the road which had no asphalt left in it this was the worst road i encountered on my journey. It was very worrying that i was alone riding in this dirt road and if there was any emergency i cannot contact for help where no mobile reception was available and only few vehicles were in transit on that road. But however reached sagara, had lunch and went to see my Grand Ma & Grand Pa in a near village called Bommatthi and also met with Shrinidhi Hande's Mother. Next stop for me was Shimoga where kerfue was put on. I was warned by every one that i should not go into that city, but took my chances and headed towards Shimoga. Reached Shimoga on time without any incident.

Day 4: Left Shimoga early morning and reached Bangalore without any incident safely. Seeing me in one peace my mother was just re leaved.

I Totally covered around 1050Kms in 4 Days and came back Without any trouble as my main concern was tire trouble but i never had any mechanical or any sort of problems on my journey.

Few Pictures that i took are available in this post, and these pictures were taken from my New Samsung Corby Pro Phone.

This Was my first solo bike ride covering some major distance, and i really enjoyed every single moment of it.

"My dream home"

Hello Every One.

Some one asked me when does a house become a home?, well as i replied “a house is just a building which is constructed on the desire of the owner. It becomes a home when it is accepted as a family member among the family”.

As every one has their own dreams and thoughts as how should their home be, i too have such thoughts as how should a home be.

First of all the exterior of the house should be good as first impression is the best impression. Exterior paint should be light and catchy but not too bright.

Interior should be very good as it must feel home rather than a house to the owner.

A good furniture to assist when you come from office, interior paint chosen should be a good one. A mixture of white in the paint is necessary as it gives a good texture for the walls.

Every person should have at least two rooms in their home as it is a utmost necessary.

A home should be located near a place where it is convenient and all the facilities should be available to every one. These facilities include schools, hospitals, supermarkets.

These things are the one which makes house a dream home.

this is an entry for marg My Dream Home Contest

As my friends and family members know, i always wanted to quit my old job & join a better one. Well i was invited by the Schindler India Pvt Ltd to attend an intervirew, so on monday i had gone for the interview & it turns out to be a great one. I met Mr. Lakshminaraya who is an AO in the company at 9am, had a little talk about the company, my job profile, Etc... later on he told me to visit the Manager who was an Amazing guy. He was very friendly and was very enthusiastic person, after i finished my interview, Mr. Lakshminarayan told me he would call me if something arise. I thought, well it will be just like all the other interview's that i had before where they tell they would call me but they never will.

A week passed without any breez, but then Mr Lakshminarayan (LXM) called me and told me to come to office for some briefing, Went to the office in the early morning, and met Mr LXM.

He explained me every thing about my company and told me how and where all the company operated. I thought why is this guy explaining me all this...?

Then he informed me that i had been selected for the company. Could't Beleave It....

Came back home informed My mother first as she was also eager to hear from me. Met couple of my best friends and told them also. All were happy and i had to pay for the lunch which my friends had as a treat (SAD)... With a lighter pocket and heavy hopes i reported for the company.

It was a boring first day as every one was busy with their own work as Managing Director had flown form the Mumbai to analyse the performance of each individual in the company so every one were busy preparing reports and stuff, i was just sitting in an room thinking to myself "God Where am I? In An MNC Co". (Details in Next Blog)

But As i always wanted i had joined an Big Company and was settling in.

And i was too frusterated couple of days as i had no access to web in my new office i felt i was cut off from the rest of the world. But Now i have plans and measures to over come these frustrations.

Bangalore Bus Day

First Special Thanks To Shrinidhi Hande For The Pictures.

All the Bangalorians know how hectic it is to travel in their personal vehicles every day to work places managing in Traffic, Heat, pollution one will be happy if he reaches his office on time, evading from the bosses angry eyes.

What if there were strategic plans that can help us manage time, which will help us manage fuel, and save all these by just providing us with better transportation options.

Well to mark a beginning the BMTC has laid the first building stones for this kind of plans.

Yesterday (4th Feb) the BMTC introduced a new plan where it has made some new arrangements for the people, who go to their work place every day and who travel from their home to office. BMTC had made arrangement for these people to travel in buses from their home to office without any trouble of driving there own vehicles.

So BMTC had asked the public to travel in buses for one day leaving there vehicles in there home. The response for this plan was amazing and about 20% of Cars and 30% of Motorcycles were off the roads, and about 10,000 people utilized the Buses provided by the BMTC. BMTC had provided about 150 extra buses for this special occasion.

To start with BMTC asked all its employees to drop there personal vehicles in home and travel in bus for one day. For the companies astonishment all the employees responded very positively. and about 1000 vehicles of BMTC employees were off the roads. And about 1600 vehicles were totally off the roads.

As an Introductory procedure the BMTC had only introduced this plan on routs of Electronic City, ITPL, Whitefield area as many of the software companies are located in these areas.
BMTC usually runs about 200 trips on this routs every day, but for this special occasion it had about 125 trips extra on this route.

Special Thing was that Mr, Ashok who is Transportation Minister of the Government of Karnataka traveled in the BMTC bus from his residence in Padmanabhanagar to Vidhanasoudha which was very welcoming. And he felt very happy on the success of the plan.

So BMTC has made this plan compulsory as it is conducting Bus Day every 4th day of every month.

As it is a very successful plan, every metropolitan across the country should adopt such plans to help save Fuel, Time, and to provide better transportation solution to the people which is beneficiary for the Transportation Company & for the General Public.

Drum's Classes

Hello Every One.

Some day back i was watching a musical program in the television where some band was playing a Rock music. As i started to enjoy the show, in the middle the drummer of the band started to perform his solo and i was just amazed the way he just moved his hands to create some awesome music.

Then and there i decided i had to learn drums, as many in my family are usually singers, there were no one who could play instruments, i wanted to be the first person in my family to be able to play some instruments like Guitars, Drums, Etc...

I checked out couple of places where they teach how to play Drums but those were not up to my expectations as they had bad instruments or they were too expensive.

But my urge to get my hands on one of these instruments is just not letting me give up on my search to find a better institution.

Some body asked me why drums? why not other instruments? i answered, i like the beat of the drums, as i am a person who find a beats & rythems in every thing, and i think i can master the drums better than any other instruments.

Another reason for me to learn drums is my parents always used to say learn something in the line of music, i did go to an music class to learn classical music before but did not work out for me, so had abandoned in the middle.

But now with strong mind and my will to learn, i am just forging ahead.

So i have been searching for the institutions who teach drums near my locality.

I hope i will find one...

Bangalore Elevated Highway

Hello Every One,

This is my first blog, as i was thinking to start a blog i came up with an idea to start with the new stuff.

Recently in Bangalore, most anticipated elevated highway was opened for public use, as it is a joint venture by the Govt and Private sector, i was eager to ride my bike on the new elevated highway, so on Sunday (24/01) i hopped on my bike and got there as fast as i can, as i was warned by friend that there will be traffic. But my urge to visit the new highway was not back drafted by his warnings. I had expected that i had to pay toll to enter the highway, as i found out that there was no toll for couple of weeks as a promotional offer.

I got on to the elevated highway and started enjoying the view and open road, it felt like i was flying, (LOL) i though covering 10kms will take probably 15 min but to my astonishment it took me only 9 min to get to the other end, although vehicles had speed limitation of 80kms/hr.

In the middle of my joy ride i found that there was a truck lay by in the middle of the highway. Stopped my bike and started to look around as many had gathered to enjoy the view like me. All of them had there camera's and were taking photographs of the highway from the top, as i did't had a camera i just watched them click away.

After couple of minuets i got back on my bike and headed towards the exit. As i entered the Bangalore - Hosur Highway i stopped and took a U turn and headed back for the elevated highway. On the entering i found beautiful buildings of Infosys standing very tall and shiny. First thing that crossed my mind was "Boy if I had A Camera" !, enjoyed the view and started heading towards, Silk Board, as it was evening the sun was setting & stopped my bike in the nearest truck lay by to enjoy the sunset as it was most beautiful sunset i had ever saw in my city.

After getting off the highway, headed back to home, but found huge traffic on the way back. After all Bangalorians know how to manage in the traffic, got back home and just laid back on the chair and relaxed.

Sorry as i was not able to publish any pictures of the Elevated Highway and promise you that i will publish pictures of it ASAP...

Regards,

Raviraj
